Refunds will only be made on the following basis:
- Notification of cancellation must be received in writing 7 days prior to the conference date for a full refund.
- No refunds will be issued within 7 days or for non-arrivals.
Delegate substitutions are permitted up to and including the day prior to the conference commencement. Please advise the Registration Co-ordinator by contacting us immediately in writing of such amendments.
In the event that the 2021 New Zealand Melanoma Summit is cancelled by the organisers, or by any reason of any factor outside the control of the organisers the event cannot take place; the amount of the registration Fee (less any administrative costs) shall be refunded. The liability of the organisers shall be limited to that refund and neither shall be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, however caused, incurred or arising. In particular, neither the organisers shall be liable to refund any travel or hotel costs incurred by delegates or their organisations. It follows that delegates and accompanying partners are advised to take out comprehensive insurance, including travel insurance.
In the unforeseen event of a COVID outbreak and the inability of the organizers to hold the event in person, the event would be converted automatically to a virtual conference. No refunds will be given unless in line with the refund policy outlined above.
Full payment is required for participants to be eligible to access the conference.
Free MoleScope II dermatoscopes are only provided at the conference and cannot be sent prior to the conference.
I acknowledge that if I register less than 7 days prior to the event commencing, any requirements (dietary, special or other) may not be able to be catered for.
Please note that there will be photography for publicity and promotion purposes at this event. Please inform the photographer if you do not want your photo taken.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
I agree to obey all instructions from the organisers as they relate to the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 as they relate to the 2021 New Zealand Melanoma Summit. I acknowledge that I have provided all relevant information to the organisers at the time of my registration for the 2021 New Zealand Melanoma Summit. This information enables the organisers to determine a risk profile for complying with the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015.
Neither the organisers of the 2021 New Zealand Melanoma Summit and its constituent members acting as organisers (known collectively as ‘the organisers’) can accept any liability for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered by any person (including accompanying persons or partners or attendant caregivers). In particular, neither the organisers can accept any liability for losses arising from the provision or non-provision of services provided by hotel companies or transport operators. Nor can the organisers accept liability for losses suffered by reason of war including threat of war, riots and civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disasters, weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates and/or partners in connection with the conference, nor losses suffered by reason of industrial disputes, governmental action, registrations or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with the conference. Neither the organisers are able to give any warranty that any particular will appear as a speaker or panellist.
CERTIFICATE OF FUNDAMENTAL DERMATOSCOPY
Completion of this course will provide participants with an increased ability to diagnose and manage cutaneous lesions. However, this course does not provide a qualification to practice outside your scope. For example, completing this course does not mean a nurse, a podiatrist or other paramedical professional can set up a practice offering diagnostic and referral services. However, paramedical professionals will find skills learnt from this course beneficial whilst working in a team lead by an appropriately qualified doctor.
